DHADING: At least eight people have lost their lives and 29 others have supported wounds as the traveler transport they were going on slid off the street and dove 30 meters not far off into Trishuli River in Gajuri Rural Municipality-6 on Sunday.
Locale Police Office, Dhading, recognized the expired as Bishal Giri (20) of Kanyam in Ilam, Sita Thapaliya (35) of Chandragiri Municipality, Raj Kumar Subedi (51) of Thankot in Chandragiri Municipality, Kathmandu, Rajan Acharya of Rorang in Benighat of Dhading area, Prakash Shrestha and Sekhar Magar.
The characters of two others are yet to be built up, police said.
As indicated by police, the occurrence happened when the transport (Na 7 Kha 4387) on the way from Kakarvitta to Kathmandu fell beneath Prithvi Highway into the waterway close Banchhetar at 6:00 am at the beginning of today.
Among the harmed people, 14 are said to be in basic condition and have been alluded to Kathmandu for further treatment.
